I stumbled across a neat little app called "Coin Scanner." It's free to download if your phone has a camera and is using the Android operating system. It's on Amazon and Appbrain.

All you do is scan the bar code of a coin's PCGS slab and you'll get the history of recent sales prices and you can even search eBay. There's another factor though that I'm thinking would be very handy; Anti-fraud. There are bootleg companies in China selling counterfeit coins in fake grading company slabs. With Coin Scanner installed, you would be able to scan the barcode of a counterfeit coin and possibly prevent yourself from making a costly mistake. Dealers would no doubt find this a handy tool as well.

Has anyone used this yet? I am eager to hear your experiences with the app.
