Ok this might be silly but I thought it was cool... This is what I saw as I loaded the main page:



The newest coin was: France 5 Centime from 1974 and the random coin was: France 20 Centime from 1982

With so many coins in the database and many braggers contributing, the odds of getting both coins from the same bragger is rare. Getting two coins from the same country with nearly identical obverses is definitely rare. :)

The same obverse design was used on all the French 5,10,& 20 Centimes from the 1960-2001 New Franc currency issue.

There was also a 50 Centimes,but it was struck only in 1962,as that was replaced by the nickel 1/2 Franc in around 1967.
