Why do I keep getting a warning when I try to post pictures? I am trying to post some nice pictures for folks to see. I am new to this site and just trying to help.

Hey,

I am not sure what kind of warning you are getting. Files are supposed to be under 60kb in size so if they are larger then that could be the error. Also the pictures should be .jpg files. We don't accept .bmp or .png files.

If you can describe the error I can take a look at it. :)

Before you got that error message were you having any troubles uploading pictures? Or did that show up the first time you tried to add a picture?

I did not have any problems with the pictures being uploaded. If I log out and log back in the error message goes away. It done it three times yesterday. When I first got it I thought I may have ticked someone off or was uploading pictures to fast or to many at one time. What I do is take up to 18 pictures at a time an then start adding them to the site, so I can go kinda fast. I do not want to keep bugging you with it, so if you say its cool then I will continue. Maby I should just slow down a little. I think this is an awesome website and I would like to see it go a long way, as I am sure others would.

It could be the amount that was being uploaded. The pictures you have been submitting are fairly large, http://www.coinbrag.com/e107/photos/2298obv.jpg That picture is over 400k. I was trying to keep them to under 60k in size.

Do you have any type of editing program on your computer that can scale them down? If you get them to about 600 in width (the height should adjust accordingly) then the file size should shrink and you won't have to wait so long for pictures to upload.
