I have not yet found an open-source & freeware replacement program to power the scanner to replace Arcsoft's Photostudio 5.5 (which is NOT compatible with Windows 7 at all). As soon as I am made aware of an open-source & freeware equivilant to http://www.hamrick.com ,I will be back to scan & upload more photos. Aidan.

It works with Windows 7(according to the blurb) and has a scanning facility. It's about the most popular and most downloaded graphics tool there is. I've tried dozens and Irfanview is the best in my opinion.
