I feel so silly having to make a delete button after years of not needing it, but I think this will save me a lot of time in the future.

I think I'm also going to tweak it and make a version that allows braggers to delete their own pictures as well.

Ok the quarters and nickels are taken care of. There's 167 nickels now needing new pictures (the post 1968 are now missing pics as all 167 coins were sharing 1 picture file).

I didn't remove any of the dime reversals as it looks like there are mint marks for both the Ds and Ss although some of them are very hard to make out like this one:

Yeah, I think it would be a good idea to have this delete option.

Tried to edit 1923 1 G Netherlands coin since you had no picture and no discription, mint or anything. 1st I added the front as a guest since I wasn't registered. It took, but it looked bad so I tried to edit my own submission, nogo! I registered, logged in and tried, it let me enter all the information then deleted it cuz I'm not authorized!! I tried to add back, nogo! What's the deal? If I'm a nobody, I can add or edit, if you know who I am and a member I can't! Scot/Scorpio911?!

Welcome to the site, Scot! I'm sorry your first attempt didn't go so well. I saw the picture was added by "USERNAME" which meant you were not logged in. I went ahead and deleted the photo.

You should be able to add the picture now. Here's a quick link 1923 1 Gulden Coin. Since there's no picture to edit, you can just click the "add obverse" picture and you should be able to add your coin.

Only the person who submitted the picture and I can edit pictures. It checks based on a user name. So if you add a picture while logged out, "USERNAME" gets credit. If you log in and try to edit, it will compare "Scorpio911" and "USERNAME" and see that there's no match. For coins without any image at all you also cannot edit, only add.

Please let me know if any other weird things happen. :)

Yeah, there is probably quite a few errors on the site. It's good you noticed these errors.

Sorry for not writing sooner.

denezed, I fixed the first three coins. The fourth I was not sure about. My books don't even show a 2,000 lira coin existing in 1994. The worst thing is that I added that coin! I changed it to a 1981 3,000 Lira coin. :)

Thanks for pointing those out!

Nicholas,
Turkey has had a lot of strange denominations,such as a medal-coin for 750,000 Lira & a medal-coin for 35 New Turkish Lira.

The Turkish 750,000 Lira reminds me of Zimbabwe's strangely denominated 750,000 Dollars in the 2006 Bearer Cheque series.

Aidan.
